1 - Who are we?

House of Sylvanas is a semi-religous, heavily militarized cult that serves Sylvanas as her Court and Council. Forsaken and Blood Elves only are allowed to enter our ranks. The House is considered one of the most powerful groups in the Horde, and are members of the Blood Pact.
According to rumours the House of Sylvanas are seeking souls to bind them to the Dark Lady. The House of Sylvanas seeks to serve the Banshee Queen to all ends, though we also have their own objectives to fullfill. The House also plans to eradicate all life on Azeroth, at some point, though this plot is more of a guideline and may or may not come to fruition. We don't roleplay it actively, only in secrecy among some of our members.

2 - Rank Breakdown, Personalities

Crypt Neophyte is the starting and lowest rank. A neophyte is a servant, only speaks when spoken to and dedicates himself into aiding his superiors. From there on there are several other ranks that will be accessible once the Officers find you worthy of them.

Crypt Fanatics consist of those zealots who have shown their great determination in the pursuit of forsaken ideals and goals .... Merciless and duty-bound, they now aspire to one day become a Reaper.

Crypt Reapers have gone through rigorous training and ordeals, they now form the battle-hardened core of the House's legions. These operatives may be relied on with the execution of any matter, as their unquestionable loyalty and sheer relentlessness will not allow for anyone to stand in their way of achieving their mission. The Reapers compete with eachother over the right to become one of the few champions.

Crypt Champions are noble, honoured members, selfless in the cause and awarded the right to present their points in Council. They function as field-commanders of the Ranks Reaper and below.

Crypt Barons are the body of Officers and advisors to the Dark Lord. Usually Governors aswell. They bear the responsibility over a faculty.

Dark Harbinger is an individual who has excelled in every way possible, and now serves the Dark Lord personally as his second-in-command and Chief of Staff. It is his/her duty to manage and concentrate the flow of information that requires the Dark Lord's attention aswell as protecting his interests and serving as his direct representative.

Dark Lord is the Governor of the Undercity and ruler of the House of Sylvanas, upon his/her shoulders lies the responsibilty for the perseverant conquest of the forsaken cause. His/Her word is widely considered nothing short of divine mandate.

We break through several branches, the Deathguard, or military front, the Rangers branch and the Shadowstalker branch (spy, intel branch).

However the military is not our only circle, as a matter of fact, the House has always been ruled by politicians and scientists. Keep this in mind.

3 - Our assets

The Royal House has many assets, the main of them being the Isle of Fenris and the Keep on it, located in Lordamere Lake in Silverpine Forest. The Keep serves not only as HeadQuarters but is also the residence of the Governor himself.
Under our banner are also the Forsaken Settlements in Northrend (Vengeance Landing, New Agamand and Venomspite), the Arena in Dire Maul and most of the Hillsbrad foothills area. Under our domain there is also the flying Necropolis of Zeramas, taken from the scourge and dubbed Zeramas: Windrunner Hold.

4 - Our behaviour

This part is specially important. The House of Sylvanas is known for it's strict discipline code and it's High RP standarts. We -DO NOT- tolerate cretins or OOC'er action and we surely expect your character to behave under his role and have a well portraited and developed background.
Always keep in mind the Forsaken roleplay guidelines, wich i will quote:

For though the very land is cursed, the zealous humans of the Scarlet Crusade cling to their scattered holdings, obsessed with eradicating the undead and retaking their once-beautiful homeland.

Convinced that the primitive races of the Horde can help them achieve victory over their enemies, the Forsaken have entered an alliance of convenience with the savage orcs and the proud tauren. Harboring no true loyalty for their new allies, they will go to any lengths to ensure their dark plans come to fruition.

As one of the Forsaken, you must eliminate any who pose a threat to the new order – be they human, undead, or otherwise.

5 - How we ride

The House of Sylvanas rides in Undead steeds, obviously. However, we ride with discipline and in organized formations, in well formed lines made according to Ranks, and making use of the /follow command.

6 - Where we Meet

We usually meet in the Ruins of Lordaeron in Undercity or our Keep in Fenris. Both places have rules of behaviour aswell.

In the Ruins, the high ranked Officers will stand on the upper floor. while the lower ranks will spread themselves along the descending stairs. Neophytes are to lign up in the presence of Officers, always.
In the meeting room at the Keep, officers will gather around the table and Neophytes are allowed to sit on the side chairs, close to it but not to take part in any discussion unless asked.

7 - Chat Rules

Upon joining HoS you will be given entrance to our OOC channel, wich acts as well, our OOC guild chatter place. /G is meant for Guild Hall roleplay, if you are not familiar with this concept, then ask an officer and he will be delighted to exemplify what's it all about.

Failing on comply with these terms will cause you to fail your trial period or a swift /gkick if you happened to have passed the period.

These guidelines are meant to help people evolve their RP and avoid fuckups.

Officers feel free to add stuff or edit the main post, i typed this under the effect of cretin-induced Nerdrage so probably there's stuff missing.

ALSO i'd recommend ALL the recruits to be directed to this thread as soon as they pass the interview, in order to shed some light on what they've gotten themselves into.
