Brief Character History: As a living, he was born into a considerably rich family residing in Silvermoon, being the only son of his parents who believed he could follow his father´s steps and become an educated man. Astraios had no intention of that. His life turned into a bunch of lies, always having an excuse or two for not attending the appointments with his teachers. Instead, he was spending the days around thieves and smugglers, becoming one of them for no other reason than pure entertainment. Later, when the situation at home grew too tense, combined with a fresh warrant to arrest, he left the city for good, travelling mindlessly, the group of his “friends” falling apart over time. He continued going on, even though he could hardly recall the places he passed, living day after day, until he ran into a group of Scourge necromancers. He fought their minions and eventually lost - but didn´t die. After that, he was taken to become a death knight, seeing as his battle skills could be of use. His blood and body was transformed to become one of the Bloodhounds, a group of blood crazed death knights, unleashed only when the situation was too critical to be solved by regular force. His last battle – the defence of Icecrown Citadel – was his second death where he fought as one of the two remaining Bloodhound elites. His body was then left in the ice, frozen until found again, probably years later. ((according to the timeline described here, there was a few years between The Fall of the Lich King and The Shattering )) The frozen death knight was taken to Undercity, where the Valkyries – now serving the Forsaken – resurrected him. His bloodlust awakened almost in an instant, so a seal was forged to keep that at bay. For the first time after years, Astraios could think for himself thanks to the amulet. He started wandering around the city, occasionally travelling further, trying to figure out who he is or rather - is supposed to be.
RP history: The first person who spoke to him was a woman of the Magnark family, although he didn´t learn her name. She brough him to meet Macaberius, where he learnt of the House for the first time. In the following days, Astraios discovered a part of his old self – walking around the city, listening to whatever information he could gather without being seen. Unfortunately, a death knight isn´t easy to hide and he was discovered by a group of three, one of them being Marrickus. Astraios didn´t want to cause too much trouble, knowing the House would be involved, so when he was told to drink a blood potion, he did. Doing this, his will was bound to his new master – Marrickus. The command though didn´t forbid him from roaming freely and so he was on the roofs once again, listening and watching. An unexpected turn was his encounter with Jayantheney, who, learning his story, decided to help him break free from Marrickus´ experiments and become Astraios´ master herself...

Overall Description: Over 185 centimetres tall, with long hair of rich red colour, matching his eyes. His skin is deathly pale, mostly hidden under armour. Normally, his face looks calm, changing only when the bloodlust is too strong to be contained by his seal.
Personality: He considers his old self a young fool and he had little if any personality as a servant of the Lich King. That is why his new personality is still developing, although he seems to be trying to defy the fact that he should be acting as a dead person. When spoken to, his responses are mostly calm, bursting into waves of quiet anger only for short moments. He despises people who act without knowing all the facts, so although he is more than willing to serve, he find Marrickus´ experiments meaningless and stupid, which is the only reason he wants to break away from him at all. Astraios obeys, but when there is something important he has to say, he expects not to be silenced.

Why does he / she wish to join the House? : He wants to be useful. The Forsaken gave him “life” again, so he believes he should serve them. Also, his will is already bound to a member of the House.
Where did he / she hear about the House? : As described in the story – a little here and there, from Macaberius, on the roofs... but Jay was the first to explain more.
Rate your character's power on a 1-10 scale, 1 being a lowly beggar, 10 being the Lich King / Illidan / etc: 5-6 when it comes to brutal strength, but he can only use a small amount of magic, mostly concerning blood. (His abilities to control blood increase when the seal is removed, but he can no longer fully control his actions.) He is also able to command frost, but that is pretty much only good enough for extinguishing fires and walking on water.
