Full name of your character:
Arecó

Character race:
Blood Elf

Character class and level:
80 rogue

Character age:
26

Brief Character History:
As a young elf I was recruited for the Shattered Sun Offensive. After spending 4 years there I came back to an empty house. My parents had been murdered brutally by bloodthirsty Humans. For years I wandered Azeroth, Outland and Northrend looking for some place to settle down. I never made any gold, so I made my living out of stealing from those around me. One day I stole from a member of the house and I lost a finger to Korgon and allmost my life that day -All that for 20 gold.

Overall Description:
Weak, missing the right hand middle finger after it being cut off...

Personality:
A weak person that only survives on stealing from others. Slightly disturbed mentally after seing the war in Quel'Danas.

Hobbies and small pleasures:
Fireworks, Seasons and festivals.

Why does he / she wish to join the House? :
To serve the Banishee Queen and protect Undercity from all threats. And all other cliché things.

Where did he / she hear about the House? :
Just today, as in the life story... I heard of the House by stealing from it. Hehe... Not such a nice start, eh? Well, I wish I could join because I like the feeling of putting myself in another role. And actually having to have a 2nd life where others matter.

Rate your character's power oon a 1-10 scale, 1 being a lowly beggar, 10 being the Lich King / Illidan / etc: 3

May be cliche but it's what the guild revolves around, couldn't imagine anyone saying that in an actual IC-interview.

Probably revise that bit and try to personalise the concept as best you can.

I like the broken soldier theme, as overused as it might be.

Plus, Shattered Sun Offensive always brings me fond memories...

Good luck with your IC interview!

Brief Character History:
As a young elf I was recruited for the Shattered Sun Offensive. After spending 4 years there I came back to an empty house and a note telling me who did it. My parents had been murdered brutally by bloodthirsty Humans. I spent weeks, days and even months trying to find the Humans that killed me, finally one day I found one of them north of Southshire. I followed him for hours untill he made his first resting place, in the Alterac Mountains. I waited untill it got dark before I silently put a blade to his throat and sliced his head off. I carried the body up on a high mountain and left it there for some lions to eat.

For years I wandered Azeroth, Outland and Northrend looking for some place to settle down. For some time I setteled down back in Fairbreeze Village, helping defending the place for money, food and a place to call home. I had found myself a lovely girl, but there was one problem, she was married. We had a simple love affair untill I decided it could be no more. I packed my bags, grabbed some of what I thought was food, but it turned out to be "dust"(see below), and ran away. I ended up in Undercity, where I found a Troll I thought I could call friend. I payed her for dust and slowly I needed more and more, she raised the price of it, just for the profit. After three weeks of constant buying I finally ran out of money. I never had any job in Undercity, so I made my living out of stealing from those around me.

One day I stole from a member of the house, I felt regret, so I came back to apoligise. I could not hand money back, since I had allready used it to pay off some of the gold I owed the Troll. I tried running away, and I managed to dissapear with a smoke bomb, but sadly I was captured before the life could leave and I was forced to make up a story, later proven I was wrong so I lost a finger to Korgon and got pushed in the water to die for some hours that day. -All that for 20 gold.

Overall Description:
Missing the right middle finger, it is bandaged. In poor physical appearance after weeks of stealing and living on the stolen gold.

Personality:
A weak person that only survives on stealing from others. Slightly disturbed mentally after seing the war in Quel'Danas. Addicted to "Dust", effects similar to real life drugs and it has the same dangers as real life smoking(shortening life)

Hobbies and small pleasures:
Fireworks, Seasons and festivals. Stealing from others, dust, eves dropping and the rush of stealing.

Why does he / she wish to join the House? :
To serve the Banishee Queen and protect Undercity from all threats. To serve the undead as good as I possibly could.

I also very much like the concept of the character. Looks rather good in comparison to all the bloodthirsty "I am the agent of your demise" people I lately see all around.

But there is one little thing I don´t realy understand here.. Feel free to ignore the question, as I have no real right of asking it, seeing as it´s HoS buisness...

I just don´t see any real reason why a character like that would wish to serve Sylvanas so eagerly. Ofc, there may be some connection to her, based on the fact she was the Ranger-general of Quel´Thalas before and also partialy during the war. But, despite the fact that she tried to protect it from the Scourge, she was a part of it, though unwillingly, for the majority of the attack.
If the war had affected the character in such a major and negative way as you say, why would he want to be a part of the Forsaken society.. Those who originated from the Scourge which destroyed his homaland, and are lead by someone who failed to protect it (no pun @ Sylvanas, I still luff her Wink ).

Also, he was previously hurt by a memeber of the House for trying to steal some gold for him. Now, I can imagine that getting a finger cut off is nothing pleasant, so wouldn´t it mean, for such a weak and slightly mental character, that he would try to distance himself from the House, because of the bad experience? Rather than runing right back to them?

Don´t take the questions in the wrong way, I´m just trying to understand a char I find interesting a bit more...

Since the forsakens were the ones "accepting" the Blood Elves into the horde there is a major connection between them. And since forsaken is dead humans theres even more of a reason to love them. Allso, the only place he felt at home was Undercity. Being rejected in all other places for being "Uncivilised"(To say it straight, he's a Thief). So he makes his home in the sewers of Undercity and has lived there for -SOME- time.

To inflict fear is power. Power is the best thing in the world. Therefore the idolising of the House and/or it's members.

Ooh, I see. very interesting.
I honestly didn´t think of that option, but it is one of the more obvious ones, now that you pointed it out.
Thanks for that!
