Vargon's Fall Empty
PostSubject: Vargon's Fall   Vargon's Fall EmptyFri Jan 29, 2010 7:07 pm

(( By Nerc ))

*Vargon and his trusted few looked upon Aldur`Thar with determind eyes "When we claim it, the argents will have a new base, stand tall soldiers and let your swords cleave us into history!" *The soldiers roared and bashed their shields for luck as they charged into the tower, thinking it would be an easy catch due to the constant purge the scourge had befallen the last months*

"What is thi-..?!" One of his men cryed out as a sinister strike at his neck severed his head, the death knights, cultists and mindless ones swarmed out around them, ensnaring them from the dark*

*vargon stared coldly upon the wretched hordes of scourge surrounding them, back to back with his men he raised his light imbueded sword high as he called out* "Men of the alliance, this is our hour, let them remember us and send them to the nether that awaits us all!" *The men roared with him as the scourge become enraged at his tone of voice and began their onslaught*

...

After a few minutes the humans laid there, dismantled and wretched. The Cultists carried the biggest of them to a nearby altar, Vargon tossed his wedding ring at his second in command, Aldarian, and scribbled the name "Isabell" (wich is to be the name of his unborn daughter) in his own blood upon the altar as the cultists started chanting lowly around him. Aldarian crawled out of there, nearly bleeding to death to pass the message of Vargon`s demise to his wife, which he had heard so much of in the time spent with Vargon. The last he heard was the echoed sound of voices, humming and chanting the name "Nercaz" as a dim, purple glow surrounded the halls.

OOC: Vargon is dead and turning into scourge as we speak, Nercaz is his 'undead' name as the scourge seeks to use him in their own ranks, will the alliance come and purge him, or will the forsaken turn him into one of their own? ((Pssst Archnazg ;p ))

A dark ranger clad in thin black leathers looks over the battle. She squints, interested.

"Idiots." she mutters. She then moves on to follow the cultists. After following she returns to her post, and delivers the little piece of news to her superior.

Archnazg read over a letter sent to him. The letter asked him to take a force and claim someone who appeared to be a friend of a Sunreaver from falling into Scourge grasp. Whoever it was, was begging him. Archnazg suspected a trap, though looked up this incident. It appeared to be on file - witnessed by a dark ranger.

"Good. Fresh... ex-Alliance.. Wonderful... The eve of tomorrow, we shall claim him."

Darkly hooded figures around him nod in agreement.

*Three Third Lions stand at the Body of there beloved Vargon cursed by the scourge undeath, they stand taller then most of the Undead, except there leader, they kneel outnumbered as they lowly plot in there commonon tongue* "On my Word we'll kill there leader..." As the leader of the Third Lions let out a yelp "For the King!" As they struck and fought the Undead, only to fall a Valiant Death, as the undead clambered around there bodies ripping small pieces of flesh from them, as they are dragged to a line there half dead corpses, forced to flee and leave there Beloved Commander behind to suffer an eternity of Undeath.

Vargon's Fall Empty

The Dark Lord marched up the middle isle of the cursed scourge temple. By him Forsaken of the House of Sylvanas crept. Sin'dorei blood knights, and a farstrider paced by them. Everyone hungering for battle. Archnazg reviewed the three defenders, they knelt... he saw this as an act of surrender, and raised banners of the Undercity all around. He cackled, gloating over their misfortune.

However, they then sprung up, with some words in common, and lunged for Archnazg. The Dark Lord immediately dispersed, and stepped back. By this time the House and Everlasting Sun force had taken them down to the ground, near death.

Archnazg then begun channeling dark energies into Vargon, restoring him to conciousness. He then gave Vargon the choice to slay his former comrades or let them live.

"They came here to end your unlife. I give you the choice to dictate their life or death... ultimately, their souls will be ours, though."

Vargon chose to spare them, and they were brought together and told to flee by the Dark Lord and his agents. Vargon joined the House of Sylvanas and shall serve the Forsaken.

Lips trembling, not merely due to the cold, as her gauntleted hand closed the eyes of a fallen human. A deep breath, shattering cold piercing her lungs, she gave the man his last rites from her prayer book, feeling the law-abiding gaze of Knight Skydancer following her every word with an expression she could not quite determine.

The ritual they had interrupted had been dark, ominous, Light-consuming. The Forsaken had been rescued, but at what cost? Had she raised her sword for the overshadowing goals of the Forsaken? A commander of the Alliance according to the Dark Lord, as he gave his briefing in the ruins of Lordaeron, and it was their duty to their allies from the Undercity to aid them in their cause.
Still, aiding the shadow felt like a solid force pushing down on her chest, a grave feeling of guilt that made it near impossible to breath.
Yes, she would have to pray to the Light, tonight, until Dawn would come.

Vargon's Fall Empty
PostSubject: Re: Vargon's Fall   Vargon's Fall EmptyWed Feb 03, 2010 5:18 pm

As the days go by, Nercaz is drawn to memories of friendship and strong bonds, still intact with his friends and loved ones in the Alliance. Even after the atrocities he has done for the dark lord in service to the house his memories somehow lingers.
He summons his putrid warhorse and rides hard to find himself in Duskwood. Familiar faces he spys at for no apparant reason before noting that Arshes is near aswell, spying and doing her thing for the House. Nercaz trys his best to stay in hiding so the citizens wont be repulsed by him and attack, but alas..to late. An old friend, Cantor spots him and charges. Nercaz trys to run, he will not fight him even as the bloodlust for battle haunts him and is quickly subdued by the stronger man. As nercaz shrugs to his feet again he wanders of, thinking this is how it will be now, beeing hunted by former friends.

"Meh.." he truts of to his hiding place in deadwind pass and changes into his former uniform as riders approach.

"Vargon?" a voice speaks, rather startled as he adresses the corpse in crusader uniform.

Seza, Cantor and Sindariel, all former friends approach and they talk. Soon the awkward looking party rides out to catch up and converse on Vargons..situation. Kaeden, a holy man and friend, asks him about the dark lord, he almost spits the questioons out, as if they have history together and passes a note to Nercaz.

"Ill make sure he gets it" Nercaz bows and withdraws as quietly as he can from alliance territory to lay the note at the dark lords desk in the undercity.

The note states - Hey Doc, Its been a while, im enjoying my freedom. Kaeden -

Peering eyes looks around, trying to make sure no one sees him lay the note there as he slumps into tirisfall towards hillsbrad.
